IS-04: NMOS Discovery and Registration
AMWA IS-04 specifies APIs to allow network-connected devices to register their resources on a shared registry, and for client applications to query the registry, and to subscribe to updates. It also describes a method for peer-to-peer discovery in order to permit operation on a link-local only or smaller network deployment. IS-04 provides definitions for basic resources -- Devices, Senders, Receivers, Sources, Flows -- that underpin other AMWA NMOS specifications.
